Six Foot Design Co –  An experienced freelance studio with big ambitions—powered by late nights, endless ideas, and way too much coffee.

Who We Are

We are a small creative studio with big capabilities, established in late 2023. My wife, Laurel, and I have chosen to build Six Foot Design Co as an after-hours venture, with the vision of growing it into a full-fledged boutique studio.

With a strong background in management from the medical industry, Laurel brings a structured, strategic perspective to our operations. I bring over two decades of expertise in design and branding, having worked across various product and service industries. Together, we blend structure, creativity, and experience to craft impactful design solutions.

Our Purpose

We exist to grow, empower, inspire, and connect businesses with their audiences through creativity, thought leadership, partnership, and visual storytelling.

By asking the right questions and deeply understanding your brand, we craft thoughtful brand experiences and unique visual storytelling tailored to startups, micro, small, and medium businesses. We know we’re not perfect, but we strive for bold, standout results—helping brands “walk tall” and go places. Mo, our mascot, is our brand in character form. He’s more of a Danny DeVito than an Arnold Schwarzenegger—small in stature but with a giant heart and an eye for potential. He embodies our mission: to see the hidden greatness in every brand, helping businesses grow and thrive through creativity, connection, and bold design.

Our Process

1. Discovery & Strategy
   We start with a conversation—either a call or an in-person meeting—to understand your brand, your goals, and your vision. This is about more than just design; it’s about helping you achieve meaningful business growth through strategic creativity.

2. Alignment & Proposal
   If we’re a great fit, we dive deeper into research to uncover the best creative direction. From here, we craft a tailored project scope, timeline, and quote. Smaller projects may receive off-the-cuff pricing, but big or small, we always bring our A-game.

3. Concept & Creation
   Once the deposit is settled and timelines are set, we begin crafting initial concepts. Upon approval, we refine and develop the final design with careful attention to detail.

4. Refinement & Proofing
   Whether it’s branding, illustration, or web design, we work collaboratively with you to fine-tune the final result. Website concepts often involve proofing at earlier stages for seamless development.

5. Final Delivery & Support
   The project is complete, and it’s time to celebrate! Upon final payment, we deliver fully prepped artwork and assets. For websites, we offer one month of support for CMS-related questions, with an optional small retainer for ongoing updates.
